Sam Hartman (he/him), was raised in Kansas City, and moved to Portland over a decade ago. He graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Community Development. He’s spent years working with youth in early childhood education and has more recently worked in various roles in the non-profit sector. His work has focused on volunteerism, civic engagement, mobility and transportation services, hunger relief, and education. In his free time, you can find him organizing free meal delivery throughout Portland, hiking and working on trails across Oregon, sipping coffee, or bouldering at the local climbing gym.
